What you will do

• Own product direction and roadmap across Practice Management and EMR, with deep focus on revenue cycle management workflows (eligibility, claims, remits, denials, patient billing).
• Manage and refine the end-to-end Jira backlog (epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, prioritization, Definition of Ready).
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Analysts to ensure execution, accountability, and growth.
• Drive cross-functional alignment with Engineering, Sales, Support, Professional Services, and customers to ensure roadmap clarity and delivery readiness.
• Partner with technical leadership on architectural decisions, integration design (HL7, FHIR, X12), and legacy modernization trade-offs.
• Run Agile ceremonies as Product Owner and define success metrics; coordinate release readiness with QA, Scrum, and engineering stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Product Management/Product Ownership experience in healthcare, ideally EMR, practice management, or revenue cycle management.
• Deep knowledge of ambulatory RCM workflows, including eligibility (270/271), claims (837P/I), remittances (835), denials, appeals, and payer rules.
• Ability to influence priorities and drive outcomes without direct authority over engineering teams.
• Experience with mature/legacy platforms where backward compatibility and customer trust are critical constraints.
• Advanced Agile/Scrum proficiency and hands-on Jira management as a Product Owner (PRDs, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria).
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards: HL7, FHIR, and/or X12.
