TL;DR

Sr Employee Relations & Compliance Program Manager (Finance): Managing high-risk employee relations cases and strengthening HR compliance programs with an accent on risk mitigation and fair workplace practices. Focus on guiding leadership through complex ER matters, ensuring regulatory adherence (ADA, FLSA, FMLA), and designing scalable HR policies.

Location: Must be a resident of WA, OR, ID, CA, or AZ. Hybrid schedule (Tuesdays & Wednesdays) is encouraged for candidates within driving distance of the Tukwila Headquarters.

Salary: $141,800–$173,300 annually

What you will do

  • Manage high-risk and sensitive employee relations cases and investigations.
  • Advise leaders on corrective actions, separations, and workplace challenges.
  • Develop and refine HR compliance programs aligned with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel on employment audits, hearings, and litigation.
  • Oversee responses to external agencies such as the EEOC, FLSA, and FMLA.
  • Analyze ER trends to proactively address organizational risks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resource Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in human resources.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in employee relations.
  • Proven track record of leading complex ER issues and investigations.
  • Must reside in WA, OR, ID, CA, or AZ.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree.
  • Deep expertise in ADA and interactive process management.
  • Strong knowledge of EEO, FLSA, and FMLA regulations.
