What you will do

• Own the end-to-end design and release process for exhaust aftertreatment components from concept through launch.
• Lead cross-functional PDT meetings and manage technical interfaces with global Tier-1 suppliers.
• Execute DFMEA, DVP&R, validation, and PPAP activities to ensure production readiness.
• Support virtual and physical builds, including prototypes and plant launch activities.
• Drive resolution for component performance and durability issues.
• Manage engineering changes while assessing impacts on cost, mass, and timing.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Aeronautical Engineering required.
• Minimum 7+ years of related professional experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and dimensional stack-ups.
• Proven experience working with Tier-1 suppliers on design, tooling, and launch.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in engine component design.
• Direct OEM or Tier-1 launch experience.
• Familiarity with automotive quality systems like APQP and PFMEA.
