What you will do

• Lead virtual engineering activities to ensure body manufacturing requirements are met and validated early in development.
• Utilize Teamcenter, TcVIS, NX, and Tecnomatix Process Simulate/Designer to assess body-in-white manufacturability.
• Evaluate weldability, access, sealing, and part handling to identify and mitigate technical risks.
• Partner with Product Engineering, Stamping, Paint, and IT teams to drive design solutions.
• Develop and improve automation tools, data-driven workflows, and virtual manufacturing studies.
• Drive global best practices, KPI tracking, and engineering change management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• Hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter, TcVIS, NX, and Tecnomatix Process Simulate/Designer.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, including macro creation or automation tools.
• Proven experience collaborating across global and cross-functional teams.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Warren, Michigan for a hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• Experience with body-in-white manufacturing, tooling, or joining processes.
• Knowledge of virtual simulation workflows and vehicle development milestones.
• Robot simulation experience.
• Coding or scripting skills in Python, Visual Basic, or C++.
