TL;DR

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end design and development of complete automotive seat systems for global programs to meet performance and quality targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional global teams, including styling, packaging, manufacturing, and suppliers, for seamless system integration.
• Mentor developing engineers on issue resolution, cost optimization, and warranty reduction.
• Manage the engineering release process in internal systems, ensuring compliance with program timelines.
• Conduct design reviews using Teamcenter Visualization and manage global collaboration data.
• Support prototype builds and continuous improvement activities post-launch.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in automotive seat design and development.
• Proficiency with Teamcenter or similar CAD/PLM tools.
• Experience with structured project execution frameworks (e.g., Waterfall).
• Must not require immigration sponsorship (H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, TN, J-1, etc.) now or in the future.
