Junior Scrum Master (Agile)

Location: Remote (Must have US Secret Clearance to start)

Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 a year

What you will do

• Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives under Project Manager guidance.
• Maintain sprint boards and ensure work items are updated and accurately tracked.
• Monitor sprint progress and flag risks, blockers, or scope changes.
• Ensure user stories are clearly documented and meet basic acceptance criteria.
• Support backlog grooming sessions and assist with organizing priorities.
• Maintain delivery documentation, including sprint summaries and release notes.

Requirements

• Secret Clearance (Must have to start).
• 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, technical support, or software delivery.
• Basic understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar backlog management platforms.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.

Nice to have

• Entry-level Scrum certification such as CSM or PSM I.
• Exposure to software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams.
• Exposure to regulated or security-conscious development environments.
