What you will do

• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in high-speed production machinery to minimize operational downtime.
• Perform routine inspections, test equipment, and execute preventative maintenance.
• Install electrical cabinets, switchgear, transformers, and route conduits.
• Interpret and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
• Read and update complex electrical blueprints, technical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Ensure all installations adhere strictly to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA regulations.

Requirements

• Journeyman license is required.
• In-depth understanding of high-voltage systems (e.g., 480VAC) and three-phase circuits.
• Proficiency with diagnostic gear including multimeters, voltmeters, and ammeters.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in loud, hot, or confined industrial spaces.
• Must be able to work onsite in American Falls, ID.
