Industrial Electrician (Waco)

Location: Waco, Texas, USA; extensive nationwide travel required

Salary: $30–$48 per hour

Provides engineered industrial refrigeration and process cooling systems using natural refrigerants such as ammonia and CO₂, with in-house engineering, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, service, and customer support.

What you will do

• Install conduit, wiring, disconnects, switches, circuit panels, transformers, and wire terminations.
• Install and test medium- and high-voltage automation and motor control systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical layouts, functionality issues, PLC sensors, and control wiring during field installations.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, electrical testing equipment, and other industrial tools.
• Support construction activities including insulation, welding, and painting.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of industrial electrical experience.
• Proficiency in rigid conduit bending and installation up to 4 inches, three-phase motor systems, and 480V AC motor control circuits.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and electrical schematics.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel nationwide; ability to operate industrial lifts and equipment.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather and site conditions while using appropriate PPE.
• Must pass drug testing, background and driving-record checks, and meet physical requirements including regularly lifting up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Journeyman license.
• PLC installation and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and field problem-solving skills.
