What you will do

• Test, deploy, and troubleshoot defense products directly in the field.
• Translate customer workflows into clear technical and product requirements.
• Design and build new software products that bridge the gap between core capabilities and user mission needs.
• Integrate and analyze data from edge sensors into customer systems.
• Develop and apply AI/ML solutions to solve applied problems using sensor data analysis.
• Collaborate with core engineering teams to prioritize feedback and shape product direction.

Requirements

• Strong technical foundation in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar programming languages.
• Ability and interest to travel (typically up to 25%) to customer sites and US offices in LA and Washington DC.
• Existing UK security clearance or eligibility to obtain it.

Nice to have

• At least one year of relevant work experience, particularly in a defense context.
• Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Confidence using Linux-based systems, Git, and SSH in a command-line environment.
• Experience applying ML or AI techniques to real-world or customer-facing problems.
