Location: Based in San Francisco or Washington, DC. Hybrid work model (3 days in office). Relocation assistance available.

What you will do
- Own and execute comprehensive account plans for strategic West Coast state and local government customers, with a primary focus on California.
- Lead government agencies through the AI adoption journey, from initial consideration to successful deployment.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from pipeline generation to closure, while owning consumption revenue targets and forecasting.
- Build and maintain executive relationships with state CIOs, agency leaders, and procurement stakeholders.
- Partner with research and solution engineering to build and execute complex government customer programs.
- Monitor the government landscape, policies, and competitor activities to inform product roadmaps and corporate strategies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience selling enterprise technology to state/local government or leading digital transformation within government organizations.
- Consistent track record of achieving annual revenue targets exceeding $2M.
- Expertise in state procurement processes, RFPs, and government contracting mechanisms.
- Deep familiarity with California and broader West Coast government ecosystems.
- Ability to communicate complex technical and strategic AI concepts to senior public sector executives.
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout the Western United States to engage customers and stakeholders.
