What you will do
- Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments for new patients, reviewing medical histories and current symptoms to identify healthcare needs.
- Collaborate with consultants and other clinicians in a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to support safe and effective care in line with clinical guidelines and scope of practice.
- Provide clear, empathetic education on cannabis-based treatments, including benefits, side effects, contraindications, and usage guidance.
- Maintain accurate, contemporaneous, confidential patient records using ’s electronic health record system.
- Act as the first point of contact for new patients, responding to questions and concerns with professionalism and clinical insight.
- Adhere to UK policies, healthcare regulations, professional standards, and mandatory training requirements.
Requirements
- Registered Paramedic qualification and valid HCPC registration.
- Minimum 5 years’ post-registration clinical experience as a paramedic.
- Strong clinical assessment, triage, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills for virtual/remote consultation environments.
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize workload effectively, and manage time in a remote setting.
