What you will do

• Develop and implement comprehensive performance and health plans for elite athletes.
• Deliver immediate care for sports injuries and create effective recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with sports scientists, coaches, and performance specialists to analyze data and facilitate informed care decisions.
• Manage tailored rehabilitation programs to ensure safe and progressive return to peak performance.
• Provide in-field support to athletes at training camps and competitions.
• Maintain precise documentation and contribute to strategic performance initiatives.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid California state license in physical therapy.
• Master's degree in physical therapy (Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, with 3-5 years working with elite athletes.
• Experience in an interdisciplinary environment including biomechanics, nutrition, and strength and conditioning.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a high-performance team.
• Ability to travel 20-30% of the time.

Nice to have

• Additional certifications such as BOC Certified-Athletic Trainer, SCS, OCS, EMT, CSCS, or CPSS.
