What you will do

• Underwrite Hull and War risks in line with agreed strategy, authority levels, and business plans.
• Support the Head of Hull and War with strategic development, annual planning, and senior-level presentations.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on portfolio performance and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Manage and support underwriting assistants, driving a strong performance culture and inclusive behavior.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with brokers, clients, and coverholders.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Hull and War lines.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience as a Hull and War underwriter within the London market.
• Strong analytical capability and data literacy to interpret portfolio performance.
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective broker and client relationships.
• Established network of London and international distribution channels.
• Must be based in or able to work in London, UK for the hybrid arrangement.

• Experience supporting or mentoring junior team members or assistants.
