Development Manager (.NET)

TL;DR

Development Manager (.NET): Leading a small team to deliver high-quality software for the Agiblocks commodity trading and risk management (CTRM) product with an accent on high-availability, operational resiliency, and cloud-based infrastructure. Focus on managing the full software lifecycle, coordinating DevOps and QA activities, and ensuring seamless integration with ERP and market data systems.

Location: Remote (must be based in the Netherlands)

What you will do

• Lead, manage, and motivate a small to medium-sized team of developers, testers, and DevOps members.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle, including sprint planning, task assignment, and release activities.
• Oversee hosting infrastructure operations and deployment for cloud-based applications.
• Collaborate with the CTO and Product Managers to deliver new features and maintain existing systems.
• Enforce secure software engineering practices and troubleshoot critical product and infrastructure issues.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on coding and debugging skills in .NET, Azure, and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with Azure SQL and MongoDB.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
• Proven experience in people leadership, mentoring, and performance feedback.
• Must be based in the Netherlands.
• Ability to travel occasionally (up to 10%) for team meetings or customer events.
