What you will do

  • Conduct online medical research of MVA claim payments using proprietary software and medical websites.
  • Acquire and review medical records and provider notes to manage the claim lifecycle.
  • Follow up with payers to update claim systems and facilitate prompt reimbursement.
  • Prepare and submit MVA billing packets to insurance companies and patient attorneys.
  • Liaise with patient attorneys to discuss claim status and resolution probability.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare billing or collections.
  • 2+ years of client-facing or customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Understanding of insurance payer/provider claims processing for motor vehicle claims.
  • Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

  • 1+ years of experience with MVA claim resolution.
  • Experience with other complex healthcare claims.
