What you will do

• Manage primary and secondary claim submissions across various billing platforms including Azalea and Central Reach.
• Resolve clearinghouse rejections and submit corrected claims for billing errors.
• Maintain account spreadsheets, provider rosters, and payer policy billing rules.
• Ensure strict HIPAA-compliant confidentiality with all client data and claims.
• Provide internal reporting on the status and issues for clients within the POD.
• Research and stay informed about payor and industry billing rules.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of billing experience in speech, occupational, and ABA therapy.
• Strong knowledge of CPT coding and billing rules for major health insurance companies.
• Experience working directly with large insurance companies such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and Magellan.
• Proficiency with Billing Software and Clearinghouse systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Must be based in one of the approved US states listed above

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with state Medicaid programs.
• Experience using insurance company websites and portals.
