What you will do

• Mentor and coach engineers through regular 1:1s, feedback, and career development planning.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to align on priorities and deliverables.
• Review architecture and code to ensure high standards of quality, performance, and scalability.
• Drive agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Monitor system health and metrics to proactively identify performance and reliability improvements.
• Contribute to hiring and onboarding to build a diverse and high-performing team.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 6+ years of experience, or advanced degree with 4+ years of experience.
• 3-5 years of experience as a contributor in a scrum team.
• 1-2 years of project management experience and managing deadlines.
• Proven experience in team leadership, growing, and mentoring high-performance teams.
• Experience with payment systems and enterprise software deployment architecture.
