What you will do

• Own engineering execution across backend, frontend, data, and reliability workstreams.
• Manage engineering managers, team leads, and staff engineers while scaling the organization.
• Partner with the CTO on technical strategy, platform modernization, and architectural decisions.
• Establish delivery cadence metrics to improve throughput and accountability.
• Champion AI-assisted development practices and set guardrails for responsible AI use.
• Represent engineering in executive planning and client-facing delivery discussions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with significant leadership in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Proven track record of scaling teams and improving delivery predictability in high-growth settings.
• Deep technical proficiency in .NET/C#, Python, SQL Server, AWS, and React.
• Demonstrated experience with AI-assisted development tools and coaching teams on their adoption.
• Strong people leadership skills including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Nashville, TN.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, wealthtech, or regulated financial services industries.
• Background in enterprise B2B SaaS with complex data integration or ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Familiarity with LLM-powered features, RAG architectures, or vector search in production.
