What you will do
- Lead and manage a team of software engineers, overseeing recruiting, onboarding, and performance management.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software solutions following best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize tasks.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tooling, and technology adoption.
- Foster a collaborative culture focused on accountability, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role.
- Strong technical background with proficiency in programming languages and technologies.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and project management tools.
- Commitment to AI fluency and embracing AI tools for decision-making and innovation.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS cloud computing platforms.
- Knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and system integration.
