What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of backend and data engineers.
• Act as a liaison between engineering and business stakeholders to translate goals into technical requirements.
• Own the full software development lifecycle and project deliverables.
• Develop and maintain long-term technical roadmaps aligned with product goals.
• Identify resource gaps, process bottlenecks, and technical debt to optimize team velocity.
• Collaborate on architecture design to ensure scalable and maintainable code.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in people management.
• Strong knowledge of the Python landscape and idiomatic solution design.
• Experience with high-performance, high-availability applications and performance tuning.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity risks and secure application design.
