Associate Director Government Accounts Federal (Government): Providing leadership and financial oversight to the Government Accounts team with an accent on achieving Revenue and Margin goals for Cooperative Purchasing solutions. Focus on developing Go-To-Market plans, managing P&L, and cultivating strategic relationships with federal agencies.
Location: Remote (Preference for candidates residing in the Southeast region of the United States). Must be able to travel 8-10 times per year, including occasional trips to Staples, MN.
Salary: $114,320 – $142,900

What you will do
- Manage the Government Accounts team to achieve P&L (Revenue and Margin) goals.
- Lead the development of annual Go-To-Market plans and expense budgets for assigned accounts.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and program documents.
- Cultivate leads and manage the sales process from initial outreach through adoption.
- Supervise, mentor, and train staff to align performance with organizational strategies.
- Represent the organization at board meetings, conferences, and trade shows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in sales management, P&L management, or business development (or 9 years equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in sales and public speaking/sales presentations.
- Demonstrated experience leading people, projects, or teams.
- Ability to meet travel requirements (8-10 times per year).
Nice to have
- Ten years of U.S. military service.
- Previous experience with IMCOM, OCAR, CNIC, or NAVFAC.
- Knowledge of IGSAs and familiarity with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS).
- Ability to understand Department of Defense (DoD) budgets and forecasting.
