TL;DR

Product Owner III (Digital Payments): Owns the Digital Payments Platform backlog and drives end-to-end product lifecycle from requirements and roadmap planning to feature release and post-launch optimization with an accent on secure, compliant payment integrations and reliable transaction flows. Focus on coordinating with engineering and multiple payment service providers (PSPs), shaping user stories in Agile/SAFe, and resolving production issues like transaction failures, settlement mismatches, and API performance bottlenecks.

What you will do

  • Own and prioritize the product backlog for the Digital Payments Platform, aligning experiences across channels and touchpoints.
  • Drive end-to-end product lifecycle: requirements gathering, roadmap planning, feature release, and post-launch optimization.
  • Work with APIs, cloud platforms, and payment vendors/PSPs to ensure seamless integrations, SLA adherence, and platform stability.
  • Co-design digital payment flows with PSPs, including tokenization, one-click checkout, and 3DS authentication.
  • Handle PSP escalations and support issues to reduce transaction failures, settlement mismatches, and API performance bottlenecks.
  • Measure product performance and communicate status and production performance to leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience as a Product Owner/Manager on an Agile Scrum team.
  • Agile certification required (PSPO or CSP-PO or POPM/APM); advanced Agile certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of XML/JSON APIs and cloud technologies, plus service virtualization and test data management.
  • Working knowledge of Agile/SAFe Lean enterprise concepts and how they apply in the workplace.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and event-driven software architectures.
