What you will do

• Develop and validate SAS programs for surveillance, clinical, and research study data.
• Identify data discrepancies and ensure consistency across large datasets.
• Develop codebooks and comprehensive data management plans.
• Conduct geospatial and molecular HIV analysis using R.
• Collaborate with federal partners and internal teams to support data dissemination and reporting.

Requirements

• Must reside within commuting distance of Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; or Washington, DC.
• Bachelor’s degree in public health, statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with R or SAS.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and assess data quality from multiple sources.
• Must be able to obtain a NAC clearance.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in public health or statistics.
• Experience with HIV surveillance or research data.
• Prior experience working with CDC, HHS, or other federal health agencies.
• Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard creation.
• Advanced SAS skills including macros, PROC SQL, and report generation.
