What you will do

• Gather and validate interface requirements, designing technical specifications, schemas, and record layouts.
• Implement and maintain SOAP, REST, and FHIR interface specifications for healthcare systems.
• Configure and manage secure SFTP connections, encryption standards, and file transfer schedules.
• Coordinate end-to-end integration testing and validate XML transactions and API integrations.
• Resolve interface failures and connectivity issues as the primary escalation point for production incidents.
• Ensure all data exchanges adhere to HIPAA requirements and regulatory security policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of IT experience with a strong focus on interface analysis and system integration.
• Proficiency with SOAP and REST web services, XML, and XSD schema design.
• Hands-on experience with SFTP, encryption/decryption, and secure data exchange.
• Strong SQL skills for database validation and data analysis.
• Must be based in or able to work in the Boston/Quincy, MA area.

Nice to have

• Experience with Medicaid, MMIS, or health insurance systems.
• Knowledge of FHIR interoperability standards.
• Experience supporting cloud-hosted environments like AWS and Azure.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
