Focus on planning machining sequences, solving production issues, maintaining equipment, and verifying parts to specifications.

Location: On-site in Hollywood, Maryland, United States; day shift from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Friday.

What you will do

• Program, set up, and operate CNC live-tool lathes and 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling machines.
• Program CNC equipment using CAM software and operate waterjets, manual machines, and general shop equipment.
• Review drawings, blueprints, and work instructions; select tooling and plan machining sequences.
• Design and create fixtures and work-holding solutions for complex parts.
• Measure and inspect in-process parts to achieve tolerances as low as +/- 0.0005 inches.
• Maintain tooling and equipment, perform minor repairs, complete AS9100 documentation, and support quoting with material sizes and run times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least 8 years of CNC experience and programming.
• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and Inventor.
• Strong mechanical, coordination, computer, communication, safety, and precision measurement skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive tasks, work independently in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple projects.
• Understanding of AS9100 requirements and ability to complete required documentation.

Nice to have

• Hardware installation experience.
• CNC press brake operation experience.
