FP&A Analyst

Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada; hybrid with 2 days per week from home

Salary: CAD 80,000–90,000 per year plus stock options and benefits.

What you will do

• Own weekly and monthly management reporting, including commentary on performance drivers and recommended actions.
• Support annual budgeting and termly reforecasting across a school-year calendar covering the UK and US.
• Build and maintain driver-based models for revenue, headcount, and costs, and perform actual-versus-budget-versus-forecast analysis.
• Partner with Regional Directors and commercial leads on performance reviews, unit economics, marketing ROI, and regional performance.
• Support investment and pricing decisions with cost-benefit analysis.
• Improve finance systems and data quality across Abacum, Xero, HiBob, Pleo, BI tools, Coda, formulas, scripts, and AI tools.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, business analysis, or another analytical role involving budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills, including building integrated models from scratch.
• A degree in a numerate subject or a completed or in-progress ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
• Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced organization.
• Strong analytical rigor, attention to detail, commercial curiosity, clear communication, and ownership.

Nice to have

• Experience with BI tools or coding languages.
• Previous use of AI tools to build useful finance or analysis solutions.
