What you will do

• Manage AI project lifecycles from concept to regional or national scale, tracking budgets, timelines, and grant performance.
• Embed human-centered design (UX) to ensure AI tools reflect workflows and constraints of frontline health workers in LMIC settings.
• Align product strategies with organizational goals and coordinate with ministries of health, multilateral partners, and tech firms.
• Define and enforce integration standards (FHIR, HL7) to ensure interoperability with national health information systems like DHIS2 and OpenMRS.
• Develop scaling readiness frameworks and data access agreements governing grantee data sharing and privacy.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience managing AI, digital, or technology product portfolios, preferably in a commercial setting.
• Demonstrated experience managing grants, contracts, or comparable investment vehicles.
• Strong understanding of AI product development, evaluation, and real-world adoption factors (usability, trust design).
• Unrestricted work authorization in the USA is mandatory; sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling digital health solutions specifically within MNCH programs in LMIC contexts.
• Working knowledge of health system architectures including FHIR, HL7, DHIS2, and OpenMRS.
• Experience commissioning and acting on user research to drive design quality standards.
