What you will do
- Manage day-to-day employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including DOT regulations and driver eligibility.
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, staffing needs, and organizational changes.
- Own and process payroll for hourly and salary employees using Paylocity.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including open enrollment and terminations.
- Identify and implement practical HR process improvements for a distributed workforce.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of HRBP or HR Director experience, including employee relations.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, and operational environments.
- Proven expertise in payroll and benefits administration.
- Strong knowledge of multi-state employment law and DOT transportation compliance.
- Must be based in Austin, TX for a hybrid work arrangement.
