What you will do

• Manage day-to-day employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including DOT regulations and driver eligibility.
• Partner with leadership on workforce planning, staffing needs, and organizational changes.
• Own and process payroll for hourly and salary employees using Paylocity.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including open enrollment and terminations.
• Identify and implement practical HR process improvements for a distributed workforce.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of HRBP or HR Director experience, including employee relations.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, and operational environments.
• Proven expertise in payroll and benefits administration.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state employment law and DOT transportation compliance.
• Must be based in Austin, TX for a hybrid work arrangement.
