What you will do

• Implement and maintain project-specific safety, health, and substance abuse programs.
• Conduct detailed site safety inspections and incident investigations.
• Manage project security contracts and safety documentation.
• Interface with clients and government officials regarding safety compliance.
• Supervise safety staff and provide training to project personnel.
• Administer worker's compensation programs and act as an on-site medical/first aid provider.

Requirements

• 5+ years of safety and health experience in a construction environment.
• Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding including background checks and drug screens.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety program administration.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in extreme weather conditions.
• Must be based in Bridge City, TX as this is a field-based role.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• OSHA 500/501 or 10-hour certification.
• Previous experience in a construction environment.
