What you will do

• Define and execute comprehensive validation plans for GPUs, focusing on feature interaction and system-level functionality.
• Apply hardware and software tools to optimize validation coverage and meet performance, power, and area goals.
• Perform silicon debug to identify root causes and resolve functional failures.
• Develop post-silicon validation tools, including performance monitors and state-space coverage models.
• Collaborate with architecture, design, and platform teams to enhance validation methodologies and strategies.
• Publish detailed validation reports summarizing activities, results, and technical insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
• Must be based in Canada with legal authorization to work.
• 2+ years of experience in computer architecture or organization.
• Proficiency with lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, and multimeters.
• Experience with Windows drivers, Linux operating systems, and command-line tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with discrete graphics add-in cards or mobile discrete graphics systems.
• Knowledge of PC x86 architecture, multimedia, memory, PCIe, and power management.
• Programming skills in Python or similar languages.
• Familiarity with building PCs and computer hardware.
