What you will do

• Drive end-to-end validation and testing strategies for IP routing features including SR-MPLS, SRv6, BGP, EVPN, and L3VPN.
• Lead the development of test architecture, automation strategies, and quality engineering practices for large-scale platforms.
• Design and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases using Python to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Collaborate with development, product management, and system engineering teams to support feature delivery.
• Define and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, scale, performance, and interoperability scenarios.
• Mentor engineers to support technical development and ensure consistency in engineering practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in networking with a focus on IP routing and protocols.
• Proven application of SR-MPLS, SRv6, BGP, EVPN, and L3VPN technologies.
• Experience developing automated test cases using Python within networking or distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD practices.

Nice to have

• Application of AI concepts and Copilot-assisted automation development.
• Experience with network virtualization and cloud-native networking environments.
• Familiarity with container technologies and orchestration platforms.
• Exposure to telemetry, observability, and performance analytics tools.
• Experience working with service provider or large-scale enterprise networks.
