Level II Radiographers and RT Assistants (Industrial NDT)

What you will do

• Perform radiographic testing of materials according to procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.
• Set up and operate NDT equipment for radiographic inspections, including DR and CR X-ray imaging systems.
• Prepare components and equipment for inspections and support certified technicians on projects.
• Prepare written instructions, document training, and organize and report examination results.
• Coordinate with managers, clients, and other personnel to define work scope, priorities, and customer requirements.
• Work safely in industrial environments, including elevated platforms, confined spaces, and areas with radiation and hazardous materials.

Requirements

• Level II Radiographers must meet the requirements for an NDT Level II RT Technician and provide documentation of relevant education, training, and experience.
• RT Assistants must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent, along with math, print-reading, computer, and data-entry skills.
• Documented experience with DR and/or CR X-ray imaging and processing is required as applicable.
• A state or IRRSP card, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record are required.
• U.S. Persons only: applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees because the role involves ITAR-controlled information.
• Applicants must pass a drug screen, communicate effectively, lift and carry up to 100 pounds, and work shifts of up to 12 hours, including up to 7 days per week and extended travel.

Nice to have

• Prior NDT classroom training or on-the-job training for RT Assistants.
• Additional NDT certifications.
• Completion of a 40-hour Radiation Safety Course.
