Business Development Representative (SaaS): Generating meetings and creating pipeline for a high-performance PostgreSQL platform with an accent on outbound prospecting and cold calling. Location: Must be based in Austin, Texas (Hybrid: 1-2 days per week in-office)
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 OTE ($55,000 - $63,000 base)

What you will do
- Generate pipeline via inbound lead follow-up, outbound target account engagement, and self-sourced prospecting.
- Conduct high-volume outreach, including 80-100+ cold calls daily and multichannel campaigns via email and LinkedIn.
- Research accounts to identify buyers and develop a clear point of view (POV) for prospect engagement.
- Partner with Account Executives (AEs) to align on account strategy and messaging.
- Maintain accurate activity and pipeline tracking using Salesforce and related tools.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in sales, business development, finance, or consulting.
- Must be based in Austin, Texas.
- Comfortable with a phone-forward, outbound-first culture and high-volume cold calling.
- Resilience in the face of rejection and a strong ability to iterate based on feedback.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with ambiguity.

- Experience engaging technical audiences.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, LinkedIn, Outreach, Apollo, and Google Workspace.
