TL;DR

Director, UX Product Design (SaaS): Leading the UX strategy and design operations for the Tally platform with an accent on building scalable design processes and maturing UX practices within the organization. Focus on driving cross-functional product strategy, designing complex B2B workflows, and integrating AI-driven research and design methodologies.

Location: Must be based in Minneapolis, MN. This role follows a hybrid model with three in-office days per week.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

What you will do

• Define and communicate the product UX vision and strategy aligned with business goals.
• Build and operationalize a scalable UX design process and repeatable workflows from the ground up.
• Develop and oversee a comprehensive UX roadmap in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles at all levels of organizational decision-making.
• Present UX strategies and research findings to executive leadership to influence high-level decisions.
• Lead end-to-end UX initiatives across discovery, prototyping, testing, and implementation.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in UX design with a focus on complex projects.
• Proven experience designing complex B2B SaaS or enterprise software products.
• Expertise in Figma and deep understanding of design systems.
• Demonstrated experience building or maturing UX practices in a scaling organization.
• Strong systems thinking and ability to navigate ambiguity in cross-functional environments.

• Experience as the first UX hire or leading UX transformation in a startup environment.
• Background in marketing technology or customer engagement platforms.
• Experience integrating AI-assisted experiences or intelligent workflow design.
