What you will do

• Own and evolve the embedded analytics design system, defining component libraries and interaction patterns at scale.
• Establish user interaction models for complex analytics surfaces, including dashboards, data visualizations, and filtering systems.
• Partner deeply with frontend, backend, and platform engineering teams to co-create technically sound implementable solutions.
• Leverage AI-powered design tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Figma AI to accelerate wireframing and specification workflows.
• Influence product strategy and roadmap prioritization as a principal-level UX leader.
• Mentor and coach other designers to uplift the UX craft and embedded analytics expertise across the organization.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA.
• 8+ years of UX design experience, with 3+ years at a principal or senior-lead level in complex product environments.
• Proven track record designing embedded analytics, business intelligence, or data visualization experiences.
• Expertise in defining and maintaining design systems for web-based products.
• Proficiency in Figma, including component architecture and design token management.
• Experience with AI-powered design toolsets and Agile/Scrum delivery processes.

Nice to have

• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau Embedded, Looker, Power BI, or Sisense.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and React to better communicate with engineering teams.
• Experience using AI code-assist tools to build interactive prototypes.
• Knowledge of semantic layers, data models, and query performance.
