What you will do

• Provide technical and strategic leadership for utility-scale gas power generation projects, including gas turbine facilities and combined cycle plants.
• Lead and develop mechanical engineering teams, establishing organizational standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, estimating, procurement, construction, and project management teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review engineering designs, specifications, calculations, and technical deliverables to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Manage engineering activities from the project definition phase, interacting with engineering firms and equipment providers.
• Support project pursuits, proposal development, risk assessments, and constructability reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineering license (required or in process of completing).
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or utility-scale gas power generation projects.
• 7+ years of leadership experience.
• Must be based in the USA to align with company infrastructure and benefits.

Nice to have

• Experience leading teams for gas turbine, combined cycle, or utility-scale power generation facilities.
• Background in rotating equipment, pumps, piping systems, heat exchangers, and cooling systems.
• Experience in industrial EPC or energy infrastructure.
