Salary: $180,000 - $225,000 USD

What you will do
- Own the mechanical basis of design for U.S. data centers, including cooling plant architectures and control system interfaces.
- Establish and maintain mechanical design standards to enable repeatable, rapid deployment across North America.
- Lead liquid cooling readiness strategies, including direct-to-chip integration, leak detection, and water quality management.
- Select and manage architectural and engineering consultants throughout the design and construction lifecycle.
- Partner cross-functionally with Construction, Operations, and Procurement to ensure systems meet business requirements.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of engineers through hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
- Professional Engineering (PE) License required.
- 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience in mission-critical facilities, specifically data center design.
- 3+ years of engineering leadership experience, including managing teams or large multi-site programs.
- Strong understanding of cooling systems for high-density compute, including air and liquid-cooled strategies.
- Experience working with U.S. engineering firms, AHJs, and state/local code environments.
