What you will do

• Own the mechanical basis of design for U.S. data centers, including cooling plant architectures and control system interfaces.
• Establish and maintain mechanical design standards to enable repeatable, rapid deployment across North America.
• Lead liquid cooling readiness strategies, including direct-to-chip integration, leak detection, and water quality management.
• Select and manage architectural and engineering consultants throughout the design and construction lifecycle.
• Partner cross-functionally with Construction, Operations, and Procurement to ensure systems meet business requirements.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of engineers through hiring, mentoring, and performance management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineering (PE) License required.
• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience in mission-critical facilities, specifically data center design.
• 3+ years of engineering leadership experience, including managing teams or large multi-site programs.
• Strong understanding of cooling systems for high-density compute, including air and liquid-cooled strategies.
• Experience working with U.S. engineering firms, AHJs, and state/local code environments.
