TL;DR
People Generalist (HR): Support HR operations across compliance training tracking, employee relations, performance management, and regulatory compliance with an accent on using HRIS (Workday) and AI-assisted tools to draft documentation, review policies, and ensure legally sound, consistent communications. Focus on translating employment law updates into internal practices and maintaining accurate HR records while handling high-priority, high-pressure workflows.
Location: Remote within the United States (preference for Mountain or Central time zones)

What you will do
- Review, track, and document mandatory and non-mandatory training completion using HRIS (Workday) and AI-assisted reporting to flag gaps and generate compliance summaries.
- Support HR programs across compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, and performance management, using Microsoft Copilot to draft documentation and meeting notes.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment law by using AI-assisted policy review tools and regulatory update feeds, and apply judgment to update internal practices.
- Handle employee relations activities (corrective actions, PIPs, exit interviews) using AI drafting tools to produce consistent, legally sound written communications.
- Support business partners with complex employee relations cases by preparing documentation and synthesizing case history using AI-assisted search and summarization within HRIS.
- Facilitate HR meetings and trainings using Copilot in Teams for real-time notes, action items, and follow-up generation.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist/Specialist with increasing responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and regulatory compliance, including EEOC, ADA, FMLA, Workers Comp, Unemployment, and employee relations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills; ability to be diplomatic and collaborative while meeting constant deadlines.
- Comfort working under high pressure and managing multiple priorities with professionalism.
- Proficiency in Excel and openness to leveraging AI tools to improve workflow.
- Experience using AI tools to improve accuracy, efficiency, or process automation (payroll or adjacent workflows) and comfort experimenting with automation, prompts, and system capabilities.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in a large contact center.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources.
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP designation.
