What you will do

• Research, analyze, and evaluate marketplace data to provide business recommendations for sourcing and supply chain decisions.
• Manage supply chain processes for a commodity, including developing and continuously improving inventory strategy.
• Negotiate contract elements (terms and conditions, pricing, and lead times) and manage supplier performance metrics.
• Prepare, distribute, and award RFQ blankets; review expiring blankets for re-bid.
• Determine, load, and update pricing and lead times in purchasing databases; drive suppliers toward electronic/automated interfaces.
• Lead supplier negotiations and coordinate commodity and inventory strategies with customer initiatives and metrics.

Requirements

• Associates’ Degree (U.S.)/College Diploma (Canada) required; Bachelors Degree preferred.
• 2 years required (4 years preferred) of related work experience.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Effective contract negotiation and implementation skills; strong performance management and negotiation skills.
• Experience with purchasing and ERP systems (Citrix, MAPS, PassPort, E-max).
• Ability to manage conflict, build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectively, and foster cultural change.
