Salary: $80,000 — $110,000 USD

What you will do
- Develop and analyze official DAF policy and position statements on treaty-related issues.
- Ensure DAF-wide compliance with arms control agreements and support inspection readiness activities.
- Plan and support treaty-related exercises, inspections, and international conferences.
- Create and manage education materials and the official DAF course for Treaty Compliance Officers.
- Review acquisition and modernization programs to ensure compliance with international treaties.
- Conduct historical research on arms control activities to produce knowledge management products.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain SAP access.
- Bachelor’s degree in international relations, political science, national security studies, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in treaty implementation or compliance.
- Strong critical thinking, research, analysis, and writing skills.
- Ability to form strong working relationships across Services and interagency bodies.
- Must be able to work full-time onsite in Washington, DC.
Nice to have
- Master's degree (MA/MS) in a relevant national security or political science field.
- Experience briefing Senior Executive Service (SES) and General/Flag Officer level leaders.
- Knowledge of strategic nuclear doctrine, deterrence theories, and national security strategies.
- Familiarity with the Hague Code of Conduct and Ballistic Missile Launch Notification Agreement.
