What you will do

• Provide expertise, training, and leadership support for the Customer Design team.
• Lead the design execution of electrical distribution facilities and support distribution work plans.
• Review designs, materials, project progress, budgets, schedules, codes, and applicable standards.
• Develop measurable work plans, objectives, accountabilities, and performance expectations.
• Make complex recommendations and decisions based on calculated risk and communicate them to internal and external stakeholders.
• Promote customer service and support knowledge sharing and technical skill development across the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, civil, or industrial engineering from an ABET-accredited school and six years of utility experience, including three years in utility design.
• Alternatively, an associate degree in a listed engineering discipline and six years of utility design experience, or a high school diploma and eight years of utility design experience.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, training, and communication skills.
• Ability to advise on electrical distribution design, materials, codes, policies, standards, budgets, and schedules.
