What you will do

• Analyze storage feature scope, architecture options, and technology choices using tools like Apache Iceberg, Databricks, and ClickHouse.
• Validate data retention and lifecycle management approaches for next-gen storage.
• Review encryption and key management concepts to identify risks and gaps in data security.
• Maintain and analyze REST APIs, focusing on entities, authentication patterns, and usability.
• Drive analysis for backup target-near features from initial investigation through to delivery review.
• Convert monitoring metrics and KPIs into clear insights to guide prioritization and technical decisions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in technical or product analysis within software, storage, or platform domains.
• Strong knowledge of object/block storage, deduplication systems, and table formats like Apache Iceberg.
• Proficiency in REST API design, including structure, authentication, and versioning.
• Understanding of ransomware and malware detection techniques as they apply to storage.
• Ability to build and utilize virtualization labs (e.g., VMware) for independent investigation.
• Permanent presence in Poland is required.

Nice to have

• Understanding of the differences between SaaS and on-prem enterprise release processes.
• Familiarity with hirify.global products or backup/recovery components.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Systems.
