Salary: $217,500 - $333,400

What you will do

• Lead the development and deployment of AI/ML technologies for vehicle motion control and estimation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of control engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders to define requirements.
• Define system architecture and design incorporating industry best practices for robust and maintainable systems.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning.
• Manage resource planning, team development, and monitor project progress using agile methodologies.
• Communicate project status, risks, and strategic opportunities to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional engineering experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in AI/ML, control systems, or safety-critical embedded systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Demonstrated technical background in chassis controls and/or vehicle dynamics.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate test vehicles.

Nice to have

• Master of Science in Engineering or an MBA.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed global teams.
• Experience with safety compliance of embedded systems.
• Familiarity with tools like MATLAB-Simulink, IBM Rational Tool Suite, Jira/Jama, or Git ecosystem.
