TL;DR

Human Resources Generalist (HR Operations): Providing proactive guidance in employee relations, workforce planning, and legal compliance within the clean energy sector with an accent on operational excellence and process improvement. Location: Hybrid (Tuesdays & Thursdays in office). Must be based in or be able to relocate to San Diego, CA; Scottsdale, AZ; Houston, TX; or San Francisco, CA

Salary: $77,000 - $85,000 USD

What you will do

• Partner with management and employees to provide strategic and transactional HR support and proactive guidance.
• Coach managers on performance documentation and manage employee relations matters in accordance with company policies and law.
• Act as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
• Support the recruiting process through job description development and compensation analysis.
• Ensure strict compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including EEO and FLSA.
• Participate in the design of HR processes and implement special projects to add organizational value.

Requirements

• 3+ years of human resources experience in a generalist or specialist function.
• 2+ years of recent experience analyzing and resolving complex employee issues and providing counsel to supervisors.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to specific US office locations (San Diego, Scottsdale, Houston, or San Francisco).
• No visa sponsorship available (H-1B, TN, E-3, J-1, OPT, or CPT).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to travel 10-15% as required.

Nice to have

• Experience with SuccessFactors HRIS, Payroll, or ATS.
• Prior experience working within the energy industry.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
