People Operations Generalist (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States

Base salary: $75,000–$100,000 per year, with potential stock options in addition to base pay.

What you will do

• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits, compensation, payroll, time off, and performance management.
• Serve as a key point of contact between executive leadership and employees.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
• Coordinate office operations, including inventory, catering, trips, and budgeting.
• Build systems that support an inclusive and diverse employee community.
• Lead employee relations activities, internal audits, disciplinary meetings, and engagement events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–4 years of Human Resources or People Operations experience, preferably in a high-growth technology company or startup.
• Experience building, maintaining, and presenting HR data analytics.
• Strong emotional and social intelligence with experience building relationships across diverse groups.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
