Salary: $65,000 to $75,000 per year

What you will do
- Support HR consultants and clients on tactical HR matters, including federal, multi-state, and local compliance, policy interpretation, HR audits, unemployment and Workers Compensation administration, performance management, hiring/dismissal protocols, compensation, labor management, and employee training.
- Independently manage multi-state payroll activities: wage/overtime calculations, payroll deductions, paycheck advances, bonus runs, commissions, fringe benefit reporting, separation payments, payroll audits, and serving as client representative with state agencies.
- Work on payroll and time & attendance system conversions and implementations.
- Handle benefits administration including enrollments/terminations, COBRA administration, open enrollment, and monthly invoice reconciliation.
- Conduct HR research and help develop, implement, and execute HR policies, procedures, programs, trainings, and client reports/surveys/assessments.
- Manage client-related leaves of absence workflows, maintain accurate shared-drive documentation, and support client relationship/account management and internal development calls.
Requirements
- Work authorization: Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.
- 4–6 years of related or equivalent human resources experience; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and practices; multistate experience is ideal.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office; required proficiency with HRIS systems and video conferencing tools (Zoom and Microsoft Teams).
- Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage multiple client priorities and deliverables.
