Commercial Solicitor (Technology)

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom; hybrid working with 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.

What you will do

• Review and negotiate customer contracts, including amendments to standard terms and customer terms and conditions.
• Review and negotiate supplier and distributor contracts.
• Draft bespoke agreements such as referral agreements.
• Advise on AOR, credit arrangements, trademark matters, and contract termination.
• Deliver contract and mandatory regulatory training to account managers and supplier or partner management teams.
• Support legal precedents, process improvements, and other members of the Legal team.

Requirements

• Solicitor qualified in England and Wales with 0–2 years of post-qualification experience.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, amending, negotiating, and advising on commercial contracts.
• Experience advising on data protection provisions, including data processing and data-sharing agreements.
• Sound technical understanding of contract and tort law.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail, ability to manage an independent caseload, and confidence working under pressure.
• In-house experience or a good understanding of the challenges faced by in-house lawyers.
