What you will do

  • Produce and develop insightful reporting and MI packs for flash and month-end planning rounds.
  • Lead forecasting and strategic 4-year plans in collaboration with Finance Business Partners.
  • Review, investigate, and challenge material financial exceptions with high-quality commentary.
  • Create scenario models and perform ad hoc analysis to support strategic business decisions.
  • Mentor and oversee junior colleagues to ensure high-quality output and team engagement.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders across Group Cost Management and Planning teams.

Requirements

  • Finance professional with a proven track record in financial control.
  • Technical experience in month-end reporting, planning, forecasting, and reconciliations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build cross-functional networks.
  • Proficiency in Oracle or similar financial systems and software.
  • Ability to drive continuous process improvement within financial systems.
  • Must be based in or able to work in Edinburgh under a hybrid model.
