Finance Manager

TL;DR

Finance Manager (Finance): Own month-end accounting, budgeting and forecasting, and deliver P&L analysis and strategic financial planning with an accent on interpreting large volumes of data and producing impactful insights. Focus on continuous improvement across processes and systems while building strong relationships with senior management and identifying risks and opportunities.

Location: Office-based, just outside Manchester city centre (United Kingdom)

Salary: £65,000 to £75,000

What you will do

• Run month-end accounting and support the month-end process.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Review business cases and perform P&L analysis.
• Drive strategic financial planning and commercial insights.
• Lead continuous improvement by improving processes and systems.
• Identify risks and opportunities and build relationships with senior management.

Requirements

• ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Previous experience in a commercially focused finance role.
• Ability to interpret large volumes of data and deliver impactful insights.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and contributing to month-end processes.

• Exposure to Power BI.
