Services Manager, Middle East – Defence Services

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE; travel to Aarhus headquarters and within the Middle East may be required. Eligibility to obtain a UAE security clearance and no criminal record are required.

What you will do

• Lead delivery, deployment, and support for complex Defence Services projects across the SitaWare suite.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary services teams, development organisations, subcontractors, and defence customers.
• Manage allocated Services personnel, including recruitment, performance management, coaching, and development.
• Monitor projects through KPIs, governance forums, management briefings, and business committee meetings.
• Support business development through solution scoping, estimation, proposal writing, upsell, and change-request activities.
• Contribute to regional delivery and mobilisation across land, maritime, and joint operational environments.

Requirements

• Relevant bachelor's degree or higher in IT, software, or a related field.
• Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or IPMA Level B/C.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in defence and security.
• Experience delivering complex IT or C4I service projects in geographically dispersed environments.
• Leadership experience managing and developing multidisciplinary teams, plus business capture and proposal experience.
• Fluent English and eligibility to obtain UAE security clearance are required; Arabic is advantageous.

Nice to have

• Experience in defence, security, data-driven or AI-enabled solutions, and simulation-based capabilities.
• Arabic language skills.
